Frailty is Not Normal Aging @ Sandusky Library

Presenting are Dr. Ardeshir Hashmi, Director of Geriatric Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, and Tina Elmlinger, Healthcare Advocate and Trainer, Serving Our Seniors

Dr. Hashmi will discuss the benefits of a geriatric assessment and ways to improve strength and stability. Frailty is not as an inevitable part of aging but a condition that in many cases can and should be treated through a combination of appropriate medical treatment, maintenance of a good diet and a good exercise regime.
