Aging and Health

It’s a lot easier to keep an aging person healthy, than it is to restore a person of older age back to good health. That’s why Serving Our Seniors offers a course for people age 60+ on “How to be your own health care advocate”. This course is free of charge, but it does require your attendance at each class, one time per month for two hours.

Serving Our Seniors is currently taking registration for the next session of “How To Be Your Own Health Care Advocate”. By taking the course you will learn how to get the most out of each doctor’s visit, you will learn what your blood work means, medical jargon will be explained in easy-to-understand language, what’s normal aging and what’s not a normal part of the aging process and how to tell the difference – and so much more.
