Some seniors are unable to drive or to find someone to drive them to necessary out of town medical appointments. Serving Our Seniors Out-of-Town Transportation program provides cars staffed by one of over 40 volunteer drivers to drive Erie County seniors. They take the seniors to medically necessary appointments as far away as the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospital, Medical College of Ohio and Ohio State University. Call a Serving Our Seniors advocate to discuss transportation to out-of-town medical appointments.
If you would like to apply to be a driver learn more about how on the Volunteer page.
