They asked how they could plan in advance to find care and assistance at home? What a great question! If you have no immediate family to provide assistance, it would be wise for you to become familiar with services that are available in our area. Planning ahead and being prepared for “flying solo” later in life will ensure that you have a say in decisions that affect your care. To learn more, please join Serving Our Seniors and the Area Office on Aging for a public forum and discussion on “What You Need To Know about Aging Alone,” on Aug. 22, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., and again 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., at the Erie County Office Bldg, 3rd Floor, 247 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
