Give of Your Time
& Rev 3 Triathlon Will Give Serving Our Seniors $1,000.00
Sandusky resident, Chris Zess, is coordinating volunteers
who want to help Serving Our Seniors receive a
$1,000.00 donation from the Rev 3 Triathlon. Serving Our
Seniors will have a Runners’ Aid Station near Venetian
Marina, where we will pass out water and sports drinks
as the athletes race by from morning til night. Volunteers
also cheer on the athletes as they work to cross the
fnish line.
You don’t have to work at this Runners’ Aid Station for
Serving Our Seniors to get credit for your volunteer
service. This event is county-wide. Volunteers are needed
in many locations from Bayview to Vermilion and various
places in between. These jobs do require volunteers to
stand for 3 – 4 hours. You can bring your own lawn chair
to take a break as the time permits.
There are sit-down jobs, too. These jobs are on Friday,
September 6 & Saturday, September 7, registering
athletes as they arrive, flling packets of information and
other miscellaneous tasks like this. Contact Chris
