You will enjoy our cover story. Who would have thought that we have a clone of Morgan
Freeman living in Erie County? We do! You will be entertained reading about Robert
Wiggins and how his close resemblance to Morgan Freeman causes an extraordinary
number of friendly and curious interactions with complete strangers.
This New Year I hope you will ask yourself an important question - What am I going to
do in 2016 to make my community a better place? In this issue you will see how cities,
villages and townships are supporting Serving Our Seniors in its desire to create a local
movement where compassion, mutual respect and concern for one another become the
dominant social culture in Erie County.
Be sure to read about the work that is being done in Erie County by clubs, law enforcement,
retirees and the Alzheimer’s Association – NW Ohio Chapter to help Erie County residents
live as independently as possible with a cognitive impairment. (Cognitive means the mental processes of perception,
memory, judgment and reasoning.)
Last, but not least I cannot thank our advertisers enough for their support of Serving Our Seniors Magazine. It is our
