This issue is the first 32 page magazine we have been able to print. Normally the
magazine is 24 or 28 pages. Thanks to the growing number of advertisers we
added additional pages of content, which means more stories and information for
successful aging.
We have a busy summer planned for you in our Calendar of Events (page 5). You
will see opportunities to help individuals with mild memory loss and their family/
friends; forums on financial planning, elder-fraud prevention and enjoyable things
for you to do that will make Erie County a compassionate community for aging
independently. You can also gain valuable insights by attending talks about Medicare and stress management.
I hope you feel good when you read about area residents who are enjoying a higher quality of health and life in
Erie County because of the Hearing Aid Project, Denture Project and the Dental Care Project available through
Serving Our Seniors.
