Serving Our Seniors Magazine: October - December 2026

Join the Fun: Volunteer for Senior Fest 2027! Program Coordinator Nancy Dellisanti works hard to make Senior Fest  a celebration of growing older — with laughter, energy and a healthy dose of irreverence. The event flips the script on ageism by showing the public that older adults are not defined by their age. They are creative, talented, funny, energetic — and very much young at heart. If you are reading this article,  you are invited to join us! Each year, Nancy brings together fun-loving people of all ages who volunteer their time, talents and ideas. No experience is required. The talented and the “untalented” are equally welcome! The creative fun begins in January, but Nancy is looking now for people who love to brainstorm, dream up crazy-good ideas, and make people laugh. The group gets together at Serving Our Seniors for about an hour every week — no experience required. No auditions and definitely no pressure to be the next Broadway star! It’s simply a chance to let your imagination run wild, share ideas, laugh with friends and create acts that will surprise, delight and entertain the audience at Senior Fest 2027.
