When You Are Uninsured Or Underinsured
Do you know if you qualify for Medicaid? Are you too
young for Medicare and struggling to understand how
to purchase health insurance through the Affordable
Care Act “Marketplace”? (Also known as, “Obama
Care”.) From November 1, 2016 – January 31, 2017
you can sign up for health insurance. The good news
is…
there is free help to figure it all out!
The Erie County Health Department/Erie County
Community Health Center
and
Family Health
Services
have dedicated employees to help you
“navigate” the maze of finding health insurance to
purchase and understanding the cost of the insurance
plans. If you think that you can’t afford health
insurance, you may be wrong. “Premium Tax Credits”
are available to those who qualify. This can make
health insurance very affordable.
